Most divers find wrecked ships, airplanes and even automobiles nearly irresistible because they’re intriguing to explore, exciting avenues of discovery, and usually teeming with aquatic life. The PADI Wreck Diver course teaches you the ins and outs of rewarding, responsible wreck diving.
This course is designed to be an introduction and to help you develop the skills and knowledge necessary for safe wreck diving. Whether it is a plane, building, boat, shipwreck or pleasure craft, if it is sunk underwater, and you wish to dive on the site, this course is for you.
During the PADI Wreck Diver course, you will learn the following: The planning, organization, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of wreck diving, The preparation and use of lights, air supplies, special equipment, penetration lines and reels, Limited-visibility diving techniques and emergency procedures, and many other aspects of safely diving shipwrecks.
If you're at least 15 years old and have earned a PADI Adventure Diver certification or higher, you can enroll in PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course.
